My name is Kathryn. I take photos. All kinds of photos. Pictures of kids with bedhead and stains on their shirts. Brides who laugh and get silly. Actors who want to show a little bit of themselves and a little bit of who they want to be. I have a few projects that I am working on and a few that I am cooking up.

I love telling stories through pictures.

I also rather like Tazo Passion tea, dark chocolate, red boots and knee high wool socks. And my green sit-up high bicycle.

I have a Master’s degree in Political Science and for many years, I was a fantastic waiter. A rather, well-educated waiter. All the while, taking pictures. My education and experience have in many ways shaped my worldview and the way that I take pictures. The world is a bit crazy, people have messy hair and their smiles are a little crooked. I like that.

I am truly, madly, deeply in love with two people. A boy named Shawn. And sweet little girl named Beatrice.
